SAFETY RULES

For your safety we require that you read the Waiver Checklist and

Sign the Boat Passenger Waiver Form!

During your Sailing, please note that you need to be aware that it’s required for you to be mindful of your Boat surroundings. The Chartering Sailing Service “Happy Dogs” also requires for you to wear vest.
Optional: Due to concerns on Covid Virus, mask is an optional will be provided if requested.


1. All Boaters must be accompanied by Sailing representative before entering the Boat.
2. All boaters are required to sign a Release Form before entering the Boat.
3. The following items must be observed during Boating/Sailing:

  • Vest for safety and appropriate flat soled footwear required at all times;

  • All warning signs and safety gear must be obeyed;

  • Quick tour of where safety gear, bathroom, garbage location inside and outside the

  • boat:

  • Do not stray from the edge of the boat;

  • Be aware of and stay clear when tacking;

  • Smoking is prohibited; Do not touch or walk on the side of the boat when sailing:

  • Climbing on top of the boat during sailing is prohibited;

  • Do not lean on or reach beyond any handrails or barricades;

  • Watch your steps. Be aware that walking surfaces will be uneven or have other impediments not present in a finished product and that extreme care should be taken with each step;

  • Drinking allowed moderately

  • Please do not throw anything in the water/bay!

BOAT PASSENGER WAIVER

  1. I wish to participate as a passenger on the recreational charter or sailing ride being operated, and I acknowledge that my participation in the Boat Ride is completely voluntary.

  2. I UNDERSTAND THAT THERE ARE INHERENT RISKS INVOLVED WITH BOATING, including, but not limited to equipment failure, perils of the sea, harm caused by other vessels, acts of fellow participants, entering and exiting the water, boarding or disembarking boats, and activities on the docks.

  3. I fully assume responsibility for my own safety (including, without limitation, following all directions of the boat's captain and crew) while participating in the Boat Ride, and verify that I am physically able to participate.

  4. I fully understand that the involved boat has limited medical facilities and that in the event of illness or injury appropriate medical care must be summoned by radio and treatment will be delayed until I can be transported to a proper medical facility. I agree in advance to these conditions.

  5. No person associated with “Happy Dog” has made any express or implied representation to me that they or the boat's crew can or will perform safe rescues or render first aid. In the event I show signs of distress or call for aid I would like assistance and will not hold any person or entity responsible for their actions in attempting the performance or rescue or first aid.

  6. Having read this wavier, I agree to RELEASE from LIABILITY and HOLD HARMLESS “Happy Dog” along with its respective officers, directors, employees, owners, members, managers, affiliates, agents, representatives, attorneys, heirs, personal representatives, successors and assigns, all individuals associated with the Boat Ride, and all individuals and entities having an interest in the boat being used for the Boat Ride, from any and all liability, claims, demands, equitable relief, damages, costs, expenses, and causes of action of any kind or character, of any type or nature whatsoever (including negligence), arising out of the Boat Ride.

  7. I authorize “Happy Dog” to use any photographs, personal narrative, interviews, or audio and video recording of my participation in the Boat ride for any and all purposes.

  8. I certify that I have read this document and agree with its contents.
